Project Description

The Tiss Village Desalination Plant is a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant. It is located in Tiss village, Dashtiari district, Chabahar county, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. The desalination plant was promoted through the early 2000s in response to the water restrictions and population growth and its construction was completed in 2001. The plant provides 200 cubic meters water per day.
